What Does this semen Analysis Result Mean?

Hi , Could you let me know the fertility chances based on below report: SEMEN ANALYSIS TEST NAME RESULT BIOLOGICAL REFERENCE RANGE Macroscopic Volume : 1.0 ml 2 - 5 ml Colour : Greyish White Reaction / pH : Alkaline (8.0) 7.2 - 7.8 Viscocity : Viscid, Opaque Liquefaction time : More than 2 Hours 20 - 30 Minutes Microscopic Sperm Count. : 48 Millions/ml 15 Million /mL Agglutination : Present Absent Motility * Progressive Motility : 40% Non Progressive Motility : 20% Non motile : 40% MORPHOLOGY* Normal forms : 20% Abnormal forms : 80% Other Findings Pus Cells : 6-8/HPF 0 - 1/HPF Epithelial Cells : 1-2/HPF 0 - 8/HPF Spermatogenic Cells : Nil RBC : Nil Biochemical Analysis (Qualitative) Semen Fructose : Present Present Impression : NORMOSPERMIA WITH PROLONGED LIQUEFACTION PERIOD *Motility : The lower reference limit for total motility (Progressive + Non-Progressive) is 40% *Morphology : The lower reference limit for normal forms is 4% Method : Microscopy / Neubauers chamber / Papanicolaou stain / Selwinoff~s method

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The chances of fertility are fair with the current semen analysis report.
However, there are certain findings which need to be addressed.
There is presence of 6-8 pus cells / hpf and liquefaction time is also prolonged.
Presence of pus cells indicates infection and prolonged liquefaction time can occur due to infection.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your doctor for a course of antibiotic to clear the infection.
Motility and morphology and within normal limits.
Volume of semen is slightly lower than the normal range defined.
Please see that there is no loss of semen sample when you submit for repeat analysis next time.
